Matt Timby

Matt works in our accounts department and he is responsible for our compliance work in respect of our accounts, as well as assisting Robert Cooper to deliver the best service to all clients.  He also involves himself in the documentation and development of the internal systems of Willis Cooper to ensure items are tracked correctly., which helps the office run smoothly.

Matt gained his qualification at a large national “top 10″ accountancy firm, plus worked for some other large Nottingham city firms before coming to Willis Cooper, bringing with him a lot of experience in working with companies of all sizes.

Matt is married with two children, so he states that “weekends are mostly spent ferrying kids around and supporting them with football training, cubs and scouts, all sorts of music and sports lessons.”

Matt himself is an avid fan of music, and is a regular gig-goer; he still buys cd’s (and vinyl!!) by the “truck load” and is never happier than in the Mosh Pit at Rock City. For exercise (and to trim his beer gut!) Matt enjoys goes jogging and also cycles to work when the weather is fair.
